canceled. These cancellations impacted passengers significantly, and train delays were also experienced due to protests at various locations. A total of 15 passenger trains were canceled on Thursday, including the Amritsar-Chandigarh Express (12032), New Delhi-Amritsar (12459), Jammu Tawi-Kanpur Central (12470), Old Delhi-Jalandhar City Express (14681), Old Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, New Delhi-Amritsar (12013), and Amritsar-New Delhi (12498). On Friday, several more trains were canceled, including the New Delhi-Amritsar Shatabdi Express (12029), Amritsar-New Delhi Shatabdi Express (12014), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi (22478), and Hisar-Amritsar (14653). To mitigate disruptions, train number 12920 from Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Ambedkar Nagar was diverted via Sahnewal, Chandigarh, and Ambala. Train number 12474 from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Gandhidham was diverted via Ludhiana, Gill, Jakhal, and New Delhi.
