The Railway Ministry just dropped an official notification in the Gazette for acquiring land to build a new bypass line to KZJ between Nashkal & Hasanparthy road railway stations, dated 22.07.2024. This project is getting that Special Project status in Telangana, man. This new railway bypass line is gonna run through Dharma Sagar as mentioned in the project's DPR. It's just for freight traffic, making it easier for trains coming from SC side to BPQ side without going through KZJ. It's gonna be around 25 kilometers long and they expect to finish it in the next 5 years. This was reported in the Telugu daily Eenadu dated 23.07.2024.
