Don't know what will happen, LHBfication of Kalka Mail is very tough decision since the train is directly monitored by Railway Board. Even GM of Eastern Railway has urged Railway Board Chairman to LHBfy Kalka mail but due to operational constraints at Kalka stn , railway board has not approved it yet

The extension of Garib Nawaz upto NJP via Bagdogra was approved by Railway Board in 2013 but as per news the then MP of Kishanganj loksabha constituency had protested in the parliament & as a result the extension was cancelled . Earlier GN had PM at NJP CDO but when KNE pitlines were commissioned the PM was shifted to KNE
Why can't your MPs from Malda and Asansol make such protests in parliament...? Do MPs and MLAs from Bihar have some special/unique additional body parts which Bengal MPs don't? Asansol I can still understand, the constituency has virtually no MP (serves them right for voting for some futile loser - a forgotten yesteryear's actor with zero connection to the constituency - nicely having got his retirement plan sorted till his last breath - at the expense of the state exchequer's bleeding pockets).

When the halts were given response was not good but as of now as pax are paying more to get service (however pathetic in this shatabdi) good nos of boarding/deboarding from morena and lalitpur both..

AFAIK its not.. u r not allowed to board train if u have change boarding point, TTE may allow u bcoz of availablity of seats is different scenario or TTE was not strict but what u said that TTE also said the same is unbelievable bcoz either TTE self dont know the rule but its contradictory as SHATABDI category premium trains have Sr TTE..
However here is the rule
"In case a passenger has changed the boarding point he will lose all the rights to board the train from the original boarding...

12001/02 is given less priority than KURJ VB & Gatiman in NDLS-JHS section now. Now Vidisha stop being demanded. This train used to cover 710 kms in 8 hrs 20 mins earlier, but made slower by 20 mins in both direction. I was travelling in 2022 from MTJ to BPL, arrived MTJ 07.24(+5) & departed at 07.26(+6). But it reached JHS at 10.36(-9), freaking 9 mins early !!! Then the horrible slowdown game began. Departing JHS at 10.45(-5) after a 9 min stop, reached LAR at 11.51(+9), reached Bina at 12.47(+5) & finally reached Bhopal at 14.42(+30), horrible 30 mins late. Stayed in Bhopal Retiring room & saw 12002 return to NDLS departing at 16.00(+35) from Bhopal.

Returned from HWH to DGR on this train (12341) yesterday, and it was a bit disappointing. This train is known for its speed and punctuality, but despite being on a high-MPS track, it crawled up to DKAE. It briefly hit 130 kmph thereafter, but only for a minute or less.
It reached DGR at 20:35, 10 minutes behind schedule. I wanted to compare it to 12339 (this one takes 5 min less), but it didn’t meet expectations. It stayed 10-18 minutes late throughout and even had an unscheduled stop at KAN for 3-4 minutes!
