The maintainance of KYQ CDO is satisfactory but when it was under DLI CDO before COVID the maintenance & punctuality were very worst. I travelled in this train from MLDT to NJP, NCB , NOQ back in the days & guess what toilets were literally a Hell you couldn't even stand 1 sec there & train was horribly late by 6-7 hrs those days , just imagine that a train which was scheduled to arrive in midnight but actually arriving in late morning.

You probably have not seen the condition of this train under NR because of which you are saying this. Brahmaputra Mail must have been one of the worst maintained and least punctual trains of IR in those days (before COVID hit the streets). Traumatic memories tbh. The condition now is much better, train runs on time; Maintenance is still not good but if compared to earlier, much better.

So you haven’t seen the maintenance of this train when it used to originate from DBRG
The condition was worst when it used to have a PM at dli and even now after short termination at Kyq.

Depends on the number of coach for a particular class, the particular class itself and the distance, and the original caterance of the train and the route in which it plies, the timings in that particular sector or rather stretch and even the day of travel I would say. Even great pooled quota waitlist like PQWL/151 has confirmed for me due to berth multiplexing in shorter distances and where preferences are not much in weekdays where as PQWL/50 has ended up for me in waitlist in one another short stretch in the same train during weekends. Can't generalise that PQWL is worst and GNWL/RLWL/RSWL/TQWL is best for that matter. Even there are instances where PQWL/TQWL directly confirms whereas GNWL ends up in RAC, and there are some instances vice versa as well where GNWL fetches atleast RAC whereas PQWL/TQWL ends up in WL. See the current Railway minister is the only highly educated minister in ministry currently. He can negotiate with private players in SELLING INDIAN RAILWAYS better with International and Indian private players. So he is kept intact inspite on his being most inefficient railway minister in history of IR.
The services of IR ( delayed running of trains, frequent accidents, dirty toilets of trains, frequent cancellation of trains, poor services, etc) r made worst intentionally so that citing these reasons this government will oneday sell IR to private and tell public for better service these r given to private players. Private players just like airlines will charge huge money and government will have no control on ticket price s.

The most Creep and Cringe CDO/Division of Indian Railways. What's stopping them to arrange all the classes in a systematic manner. It's always clubbed. Thank God all the AC Coaches Are arranged in a single place.
