I’m going to travel next week in this train. I booked 3AC as I heard that SL might get overcrowded in day on this route. Wanted to know about food availability and quality enroute, this is a long journey. And also any tips, if someone has traveled recently in this train or HYB-BPQ-R-BSP-RNC-DHN route.

Thanks for the reply. I’m travelling to Dhanbad from Hyderabad. I’m carrying my own food from home for the day though. And yes, the quality seems to be average only. I’ve not personally tried anything. So that’s why I suggested it’s better to have fruits rather than prepared meals. E catering is a good option too, yet expensive as you suggested, but I’ve not tried on this route.
