Yes. I understood that. What I wanted to tell was, may the MP from SRTL was not as active/diligent to raise the issue. Now since all MPs from Kerala are anti BJP, we can hope they will unite for Kerala's demands/requirements.

In Karnataka for implementing Coach Factory in their state provide free land and 50% Project cost.Likewise Kerala State also participate in Palakkad Division Coach Factory, otherwise delayed years together .Land acquisition is a difficult problem and any delay causes escalating Financial problem .Hereafter Railway should start project after getting all lands for the project. Those States give free land and 50 % cost of the project should be given top most priority in completion.

First convince all the 20 MPs jointly ,Your own Kerala State government for contributing 50 % cost sharing of Railway Project for priority and 50 % cost sharing and free land for any Railway Project for the top most priorityas done by the KARNATAKA STATE.
.Then approach Central Govt RM with list of Project needed for Kerala State as1) FREE LAND +50 % PROJECT COST STATE SHARING ,2)only 50 % PROJECT COST SHARING and 3) FULLY CENTRAL 100 % COST OF THE PROJECT.

I was wondering whether a rail coach factory would really help in getting new coaches for trains in kerala?....As far as employment is concerned this being a govt undertaking, there would not be just people from kerala but instead people from other states also in the country who would also be employed. And lately I am not too sure whether we have people from kerala who are willing to take up jobs in railways??.....
So in what way will a rail coach factory help kerala? Has the rail coach factory in Rae Bareilly helped in some way the local population of UP?

Getting coaches to kerala not possible. If that is the catch all SR train would have been new coach. Coaches made are distributed according to RB order. Chance of getting job also i dont think it will be there, since it will be based on exam. Only thing will be, that area will be developed. Real estate people will get benifited. Local vendors will also have better buisness.
