* Seats of ACDD are not reclining or semi sleeper. There was a report that, if the seats of ACDD are made semi reclining to facilitate overnight travel, the carrying capacity shall drastically come down from existing 120 to around 90 (just slightly more than 80 seats of ACIII coach). The inconvenience of double deck shall still be there.
*In buses, 3 tier berths are not possible, so many sleeper berths cannot be offered. So, they go for semi sleeper seats.

*Unlike bus operators, IR have an added advantage of being manufacturer, as well as user of the trains.
*It has a dedicated R&D deptt. which should go for innovative coach desigs to optimize the number of paxs, convenience to paxs and at the same time maximisation of revenue from these coaches.
