In an age when social media platforms have practically turned into forums of dissent, and tools of transparency, getting away with consumer fraud is no more...
This is nothing new. Vendors at railway stations charge more than MRP. Yesterday only I bought a soft drink bottle and they charged Rs.5 above the MRP. I asked him about the excess charge and shamelessly he replied that cooling charges. This was the incident of tundla jn. I argued but to no avail. I paid and move forward.

Then why didn't you lodged any complaint regarding that? You could have lodged a complaint regarding over charging in the complaint book or could have posted a tweet.
What's new is that people are now getting fired over this. A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one...
