It'd be better if Kerala drops these unrealistic projects once and for all!! And better use the existing road transport to Mysuru and Bengaluru. If at all a Rail Line comes, you know the fate.. A slow train,or no train would come.
Then mostly (90% )underground in the Kudagu forest area and the entire cost should be borned by the Kerala State government.Then it's take off .
Why are they insisting on this line? Kodagu has suffered more than enough. By clearing green cover, Kodagu will lose its environmental balance. Otherwise, Kodagu and Kaveri both will vanish on one fine day.
This line may not take off, as ground survey is missing. Which looks difficult as of now, I hope they should not destroy forest for the sake of shorter route.
