This is the DOPT order delaying the annual appraisal system uptil next year.
As per 7th cpc norms, unless last year's appraisal is complete, file work for next increment is not started.
In this case, increment grant can now be given only when centre marks an exception to this clause due to emergency covid times.
Till now there is no such remark and increment...

Bhai ye संकटकाल hai.. iss waqt Private sector me logo ki naukari jaa rahi hai, logo ki 50% tak salary cut ho rahi hai, employees ko 3 se 6 mahine without salary leave pe bheja ja raha hai..
Government employees should be greatful that they won't have to worry about their jobs. Aise time pe I don't think bohot jyada logo ko ye salary increment na hone ka virodh karna chahiye :)
Economy achcha kar rahi thi to last 2-4 saal me Govt employees ko regularly increment, DA benefits diya hi hai...

Yeha Delhi mein kitne private doctors and nurses corona patients ka treatment kar rahe hain? Saara load govt hospitals par hi hai.
Chaahe police ho ya railway staff ya fir govt data centre ka staff sabke shift badha diye gaye hain.
Jabse haryana, ghaziabad/noida/gurgaon ke borders seal hue hain, 30% staff commute nahi kar pa raha hai.
Unka workload bache hue staff par hai....

देश में जब गरीब लोग बेरोजगारी का सामना कर रहे हैं। प्राइवेट सैक्टर एक बार बंद जैसी स्थिति में पहुंच गया है। उस समय सरकार को अपने खर्च घटाने का निर्णय का अधिकार नहीं है। अगर कर्मचारी को इस विकट परिस्थति में एक बार लाभ नहीं मिलेगा, तो मैं नहीं समझता उनके जीवन पर ज्यादा प्रभाव पड़ेगा। ऐसे करोड़ों लोग हैं जो 300 रुपये की दिहाड़ी के लिए पूरे दिन काम करते हैं। वो भी उनको पूरे माह नहीं मिलती। ऐसे लोगों के जीवन और उनकी बेहतरी के लिए सरकार को करने के लिए कुछ वक्त देना चाहिये। सरकार ने अपने मंत्रियों के वेतन, सांसदों के भत्तों को रोक दिया है। सांसद निधि कोष को भी रोक दिया गया है। क्या वह अनुचित कदम था। अगर वह उचित था तो इस कदम को भी अनुचित नहीं ठहराया जाना चाहिये।
