** VB should preferably be operated on 130kmph routes. ** Performance of VB on Kasara & Lonavala ghats would be worth worth noticing. If successful CSTM-Pune/SUR, CSTM-NK-AWB/AK would be a nice option.
Scope of fully AC VBs is limited. After the announced 102 fully AC VBs of chaircar & sleeper version are introduced by 2024, IR would have to go for VB trainsets with non ac coaches with 130kmph potential.
