for Phase 2, aims to enhance the station's infrastructure and address the city's growing transit demands. The new platform will increase the total number of platforms to six, similar to Mysuru Junction, and enable the introduction of new trains in the future. The directive to construct the additional platform came from MP Shri Pratap Simmha during a Gati Shakti meeting on October 4, 2023. The station has already seen yard remodeling and development of the station entry building. The new high-level platform on Road 7 (PF No.6) will be 530 meters long and 5.5 meters wide.

aur Phase 2 ka cost Rs. 13.39 crore hai, station ke infrastructure ko behtar banane aur city ki badhti huei transport demands ko address karne ke liye hai. Nayi platform se platforms ki total number chhe ho jayegi, jo ki Mysuru Junction ki tarah hai, aur isse future mein nayi trains introduce karne mein madad milegi. Additional platform banane ka directive MP Shri Pratap Simmha ne 4 October, 2023 ko ek Gati Shakti meeting mein diya tha. Station pe pehle se hi yard remodeling aur station entry building ka development ho chuka hai. Naya high-level platform, Road 7 (PF No. 6) pe, 530 meter lamba aur 5.5 meter chauda hoga.
