The Dhanbad railway division conducted a large-scale ticket checking drive across various stations in the division on December 4th. During the drive, a total of 2256 passengers were caught, including those traveling without tickets, those traveling without proper authorization, those traveling with unbooked luggage, and men found in women's reserved coaches....

A fine of ₹8,72,785 was collected from these passengers. A total of 138 ticket checking staff and RPF personnel were deployed for the drive, which took place at stations and on various mail and express trains. The information was provided by the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Dhanbad, and the Senior Public Relations Officer, Amaresh Kumar.
