Goods wagon derails near Chengalpattu, suburban train services to Chennai hit

were stranded at Chengalpattu station due to the disruption in EMU services. Southern Railway reported that restoration work is underway. While express train services remain unaffected, south-bound mail/express trains are operating as scheduled. EMU services from Chennai Beach are being short-terminated at Singaperumal Koil. EMU services from Kancheepuram and Arakkonam are functioning as usual.

Southern Railway ne bataya ki restoration ka kaam chal raha hai. Express train services mein koi disruption nahi hai, lekin south-bound mail/express trains schedule ke hisab se chal rahe hain. Chennai Beach se EMU services ko Singaperumal Koil pe short terminate kiya ja raha hai. Kancheepuram aur Arakkonam se EMU services normal hai.
