As there are no repair facilities for Vande Bharat trains in Ayodhya, the train will depart from Anand Vihar in the morning and then proceed from Ayodhya in the afternoon. Senior DCM Rekha Sharma confirmed that the Railway Board is working on the timetable for the Anand Vihar-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express. In related news, the Railway Board has proposed to convert the New Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi Express into a Vande Bharat train. The Anand Vihar-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express is seen as a new option for the Shatabdi Express service, as the current Shatabdi train set is quite old. Additionally, the first flight between Ayodhya and Delhi will commence on December 30th. This will be a trial flight, followed by regular flights starting on January 11th. The flights will operate between Ayodhya and New Delhi on January 6th and 10th, and from January 11th, the regular flight will continue onward to Ahmedabad.
