Four railway officers from Lucknow were awarded by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Friday for their outstanding work. Senior DCM Rekha Sharma from the North Railway Lucknow Division was awarded for generating an additional Rs. 1980 crore for the railway treasury. Sharma is a 2007 batch Indian Railway Traffic Service officer, holds a postgraduate degree from the Delhi School of Economics, and has served in various roles like Senior Divisional Commercial Manager/Freight. The other awardees include Senior DSTEE Satyendra Pathak from the North Eastern Railway Lucknow Division, Technician Savan Kumar Bharti from Coaching Depot Aishbagh, and Joint Director Amit Kumar Sisodia from RDSO. The Railway Minister commended the officers and presented them with certificates of appreciation.
