MMRDA floated tender for construction of 22-km long Mumbai Metro Line 12

as two separate packages, the project has been consolidated into a single tender, CA-240, with an estimated cost of Rs 4,132 crore. The project's scope includes the construction of an elevated viaduct, 19 stations, and a connecting line to the depot. The northern terminal of Line-12 will now be at Kalyan Railway Station, incorporating two new stations from Line-5. Line-5's length has been shortened due to the integration of the Kalyan – Ganesh Nagar section into Line-12. This re-tendering reflects MMRDA's dedication to optimizing Mumbai's metro network and improving transportation within the city.

Line-12 ka northern terminal ab Kalyan Railway Station pe hoga, jisme Line-5 ke do new stations include kiye gaye hain. Line-5 ki length kam ho gayi hai kyunki Kalyan – Ganesh Nagar section ko Line-12 mein integrate kiya gaya hai. Ye re-tendering MMRDA ki dedication ko reflect karta hai ki Mumbai ka metro network optimize kiya jaaye aur city mein transportation improve ho.
