Railway Board and the then BJP government. Jaiswal pointed out that the state government has not initiated land acquisition and the state share of Rs. 120.5 crore has not been allocated, causing delays in the project. He urged the Chief Minister to expedite the land acquisition process and release the state share in the upcoming budget. This railway line, once completed, would benefit millions of people in Chirimiri, Manendragarh, and Khargavan, connecting them to passenger and express trains from Ambikapur and upgrading Nagpur Road Halt station to a full-fledged station with improved passenger facilities.

Manendragarh ke MLA Shyam Bihari Jaiswal ne Assembly session ke dauran Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai se mulaqat ki aur Chirimiri-Nagpur Halt railway line banne ke liye zameen le liye jane aur state share ke liye Rs. 120.5 crore release karne ka request kiya. Railway Board aur tab ki BJP government ne 50-50 cost sharing ki thi. Jaiswal ne bataya ki state government ne abhi tak zameen le liye jane ki shuruaat nahi ki hai aur Rs. 120.5 crore ka state share allocate bhi nahi hua hai, jiski wajah se project mein delay ho raha hai. Unhone Chief Minister se request kiya ki woh jaldi se zameen le liye jane ki process start karein aur upcoming budget mein state share release karein. Ye railway line, jab complete ho jaayegi, toh Chirimiri, Manendragarh aur Khargavan ke laakhon logon ko Ambikapur se chalne wali saari passenger aur express trains ka faayda milega aur Nagpur Road Halt station ko full-fledged station bana diya jaayega, jismein passenger facilities better ho jaayengi.
