CCTV footage is being examined to identify the suspects. The incident occurred on December 14th when the 9-month-old baby, Riya Singh, was abducted from the station pathway while sleeping with her parents. The baby was recovered the next day and reunited with her mother. The Tatanagar station security will be reviewed in a meeting between senior officials of the RPF and Jharkhand Police in January. The meeting will focus on creating a joint security plan and increasing CCTV cameras and security personnel at the station entrances and parking areas. The pathway was closed earlier due to lack of security personnel and incidents like firing in the parking area, but has since been reopened. The police are seeking to limit people using the pathway due to safety concerns.

Yeh incident 14 December ko hua tha jab 9 mahine ki bacchi, Riya Singh, station pathway pe apne parents ke saath so rahi thi aur usko car mein ek ladka uthakar bhaag gaya tha. Bacchi agle din recover ho gayi aur usko uski maa, Baby Singh, ke paas vapas kar diya gaya. Tatanagar station ki security ki review january mein RPF aur Jharkhand Police ke senior officers ki meeting mein hogi. Meeting mein joint security plan banane aur station ke entrances aur parking area mein CCTV cameras aur security personnel badhane par baat hogi.
