SWR starts restoration of heritage railway stations

Nandi station will be transformed with a rail museum, amphitheatres, and a Nandi statue. The SWR has also expanded MEMU trains on the airport route from Devanahalli to Chickballapur, following the electrification of the Yelahanka-Chickballapur line.

is restoration project ke liye INTAC (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) ke saath partnership ki hai. Stations mein art galleries honge, jahan ticket booths, switches, gable roofs aur local stone jaise preserved elements honge. Nandi station ko rail museum, amphitheatres aur boundary wall pe Nandi statue ke saath transform kiya jaayega. SWR ne Devanahalli se Chickballapur tak airport route pe MEMU trains ko bhi expand kiya hai, Yelahanka-Chickballapur line ke electrification ke baad.
