Amritsar-Delhi Vande Bharat to cut travel time to 5 hours 25 minutes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched six Vande Bharat trains on December 30th, including one on the Amritsar-Delhi route. The train has a capacity of 600 passengers and features modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, GPS, mobile charging, CCTV, automatic doors, and cushioned seating. It operates six days a week, excluding Fridays, and will begin service on January 4, 2024. Fare details are yet to be announced.
