Tatanagar Railway Station were affected, some being canceled, while others were rerouted. This includes the Tata-Badampahar MEMU passenger, Tata-Ara Express, and Tata-Dhanbad Swarnarekha Express, with the Jhargram-Purulia passenger terminated at Tata. In Santal and Coalfields, the impact was mixed. Protests involved blocking roads and rail lines in Pakur, Dumka, and Giridih. Track blockades occurred at Anara station in Purulia and at Maluka in Chandil and Chakradharpur, lasting for an hour before train operations resumed. The impact was also evident in Ghatshila, affecting trains traveling between Kharagpur and Asansol. The Howrah-Asansol passenger remained at Ghatshila station from 7:20 am to 2 pm. The Jhargram-Purulia passenger was held up at Salgajhudi station for several hours. A blockage at Kantadih station in Bengal disrupted the Kharagpur-Tatanagar route.
