The IMD also forecasts dense fog in various parts of India, including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and the northeastern states, until January 7th. Delhi's temperature on Tuesday was slightly above normal, but the air quality was classified as 'very poor.'
