The success of Kavach at 130 kmph is established, and with the introduction of semi-high speed trains like Vande Bharat, it's crucial to test the system at higher speeds. Kavach is an indigenous system developed by RDSO with three Indian vendors. It enhances train safety by preventing signal passing at danger, overspeeding, and facilitating train operation during adverse weather conditions. The system automatically applies brakes, repeats signals in the cab, and provides speed control, ensuring train safety and efficiency.
