of pending cases. A 48-hour special campaign was ordered to prevent mobile snatching and theft on trains and to ensure the arrest of wanted criminals. In December, one constable each from Muzaffarpur and Siwan railway police stations was awarded with a commendation for their respective roles in arresting 29 and 28 people. The Railway SP informed that 182 cases were registered by the railway police in December, while 189 cases (including those from previous months) were disposed of. The railway police arrested 150 people, executed 53 warrants, and conducted 40 attachment proceedings. 65 people were arrested in December alone in connection with the prohibition of alcohol. A review meeting will be held on January 13 to discuss the death of a student at Sugauli station due to being hit by a train during a mobile snatching incident and the murder of a young man near Chhapra Kachhari station in connection with a financial dispute. The Railway DSPs, police station in-charges, and case officers from both railway police subdivisions will be present at the meeting. The main accused in both cases have already been arrested and sent to judicial custody.

Madya nishedhya ke matter mein sirf December mein 65 ko girftar kiya gaya hai. Sugauli mein chhatra aur Chhapra mein yuva hatyakand ki review 13 January ko hogi. Is duration mein dono railway police anumandal ke railway DSPs, thanedar aur case ke prabhari upasthit rahenge.
