The train was inaugurated in Chandrapura in the morning, and then again in Dhanbad by MP Parshuram Singh and MLA Raj Sinha in the afternoon. The party leadership emphasized the importance of the train's operation, stating that it will benefit passengers travelling between Dhanbad and Chandrapura. The DC train is popular among the middle and lower classes. BJP hopes to benefit from the train's operation in two Lok Sabha constituencies (Dhanbad and Giridih) and several Assembly constituencies, including Dhanbad, Baghmara, Bokaro, and Bermo. There are ongoing efforts to increase the frequency of the train to two trips daily.
