Lagabhag 5,696 loco pilot positions ke liye recruitment process 20 January se shuru ho gaya hai aur har saal hoga, isse ensure kiya jaayega ki railway mein staff ki kami na ho. Agar kisi saal recruitment nahi ho pata hai, toh bache hue positions next saal fill kiye jaayenge. Officer ne yeh bhi bataya ki recruitment, existing vacancies aur naye demands dono ko address karega, aur har saal har railway zone mein hazaaroo positions fill hone ki ummeed hai.
