of this project. The proposed route is said to be the shortest one connecting North and South India, leading to significant distance and time savings for travelers between various cities like Indore-Mumbai, Indore-Pune, Indore-Bengaluru, Indore-Nagpur, and Indore-Hyderabad. Additionally, the members requested the inclusion of a dozen trains to stop at Khandwa station. Other demands include the swift completion of the Khandwa-Akola and Sanawad-Mhow broad gauge lines, the resumption of the Bhusaval-Khandwa-Nagpur train, the restoration of the Itarsi-Bhusaval train to its previous schedule, the immediate establishment of a ticket window, passenger waiting area, and parking on platform number six, extending the Kachiguda-Akola route to Khandwa, and extending the Tirupati-Akola route to Khandwa. The letter also emphasized the need to connect the Sanawad railway track to the Bhusaval and Itarsi railway tracks to facilitate passenger trains. They also requested the inclusion of Khandwa as a stoppage for trains like Yashwantpur-Chandigarh, Kalka-Shirdi, LTT-Patliputra, Rani Kamalapati-Pune, and Bikaner-Shirdi. They demanded the addition of general coaches to the Katni-Bhusaval train.

Ye route north aur south India ko connect karne wala shortest route hai, jisse kai cities jaise Indore-Mumbai, Indore-Pune, Indore-Bengaluru, Indore-Nagpur, aur Indore-Hyderabad ke beech travel karne walon ko bahut samay aur fuel ki bachat hogi. Iske alawa, unhone Khandwa station pe ek dozen trains ko rokte rakhne ki bhi demand ki hai. Aise bhi demand hai: Khandwa-Akola aur Sanawad-Mhow broad gauge lines ko jaldi complete karna, Bhusaval-Khandwa-Nagpur train ko fir se chalana, Itarsi-Bhusaval train ko pehle ki schedule par chalana, platform number six pe ticket window, passenger waiting area, aur parking banane, Kachiguda-Akola route ko Khandwa tak badhana, aur Tirupati-Akola route ko Khandwa tak badhana.
