He also highlighted the potential for higher travel costs as people would be forced to use buses due to occupied seats. Mr. Prabhu further expressed concern for the elderly, disabled, and sick, as bus travel would be tiring, expensive, and inconvenient. He suggested that instead of extending the train to Kozhikode, the Ministry should introduce dedicated train services between Bengaluru and Mangaluru.

kaha ki extension se locals ke liye train mein reserve seats milna mushkil ho jayega, jisse unreserved coaches mein overcrowding ho jayega. Unhone yeh bhi bataya ki isse travel expenses badh sakte hai kyunki logon ko occupied seats ki wajah se buses use karni padengi. Mr. Prabhu ne elderly, disabled aur sick passengers ki bhi chinta jataayi, kyunki bus travel thakan, expensive aur inconvenient hoga. Unhone suggest kiya ki train ko Kozhikode tak extend karne ki bajay, Ministry ko Bengaluru aur Mangaluru ke beech dedicated train services start karni chahiye.
