A couple of weeks before, news had come that second line would be built connecting main Railway station via Lucknow City rail station and finally to a proper terminal. And now, this. Originally, Lucknow Metro was supposed to have 6 phases/lines. Now, it seems it'll languish in the dust.

This is the difference between India and China and why our country can't catch up to the latter. In the time limit it took to initiate Lucknow Metro and now, the Chinese would have submerged their whole city under a transit system
