tranquilized and released back into the forest. The department explained that they were not informed about Thanneer Komban's presence in Wayanad until February 2nd and struggled to manage the unfamiliar elephant. They had to tranquilize the elephant, and despite efforts to return it to the forest, Thanneer Komban died on February 3rd due to an infection. The department refuted claims that the elephant died due to a drug overdose. An expert committee is investigating the death of Thanneer Komban and has already recorded statements from Kerala officials. ke handling ko lekar criticism ka saamna karna pad raha hai, jo tranquilize karne ke baad forest mein release karne ke baad mar gaya tha. Woh Thursday ko Karnataka officials ke statements record karenge aur ek mahine ke andar apni report submit karenge.
