(WR) has allocated ₹20 lakh for the project in the interim budget and has begun the paperwork and documentation process. The depot will have separate washing lines for 10 trains and will be able to maintain the next-generation AC Sleeper Vande Bharat semi-high speed trains. In addition to the depot, a new coaching terminus will also be built at Jogeshwari at a cost of ₹69 crore, featuring a 600-meter long island platform with tracks on both sides. This terminus will accommodate 24-car trains and will cater to passengers taking long-distance trains to Gujarat, benefitting residents and travelers from areas like Borivali, Kandivali, Andheri, Vasai, and parts of the northwestern suburbs. ₹20 lakh allocate kiye hain aur paperwork aur documentation start ho chuka hai. Depot mein 10 trains ke liye alag washing lines honge aur ye next-generation AC Sleeper Vande Bharat semi-high speed trains ko maintain kar payega. Depot ke alawa, Jogeshwari mein ₹69 crore mein ek new coaching terminus bhi banne wala hai, jismein 600-meter lamba island platform hoga jiske dono taraf tracks honge. Ye terminus 24-car trains ko accommodate karega aur Gujarat jaane wali long-distance trains ke passengers ko service dega. Isse Borivali, Kandivali, Andheri, Vasai, aur northwestern suburbs ke residents aur travellers ko fayda hoga kyunki unhe long-distance journeys ke liye Mumbai Central, Dadar, aur Bandra Terminus tak jaane ki jarurat nahi hogi.

Trains originating from Jogeshwari should halt at Vasai Road Instead of Borivali. This will give relief to millions of passengers in the Vasai-Virar-Palghar region.
