On Thursday, a railway magistrate checking campaign was conducted on the Gwalior-Jhansi railway line. During this campaign, 131 ticketless passengers were apprehended across various trains. The focus of the magistrate checking was on passenger trains and general coaches of other trains. The sudden checking caused panic among ticketless passengers. Those trying to escape from the platform were also apprehended by the RPF and handed over to the checking staff. The campaign involved Chief Ticket Inspector Rajiv Sharma, Rajendra Chhari, Manoj Pandey, Vikas Shrivastav, Anil Maurya, along with Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel.
