January 30th, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) intervened and the railway granted an NOC. The NHAI has now begun preparations for the flyover construction, including the shifting of high-tension lines. The ring road project includes nine railway crossings, where the road will pass over the railway tracks via ROBs. The project, spanning 93.2 km, will have two Ganga bridges and nine ROBs and is expected to cost 7700 crore rupees, with completion targeted for December 2026.
