covering 60 km with a corridor encompassing Kalene Agrahara (Gottigere), Jigani, Anekal, Attibele, Sarjapur, Varthur, and Kadugodi Tree Park. This study will evaluate factors like train type, ridership, alignment, station placement, and construction costs. These extensions were announced in the recent Karnataka Budget, with plans to connect Bangalore International Exhibition Centre to Tumakuru and Kempegowda International Airport to Devanahalli via a Public-Private Partnership. Notably, these new corridors are not included in the Comprehensive Mobility Plan of 2020, which outlined a 317 km expansion with different corridors.
