The three lines to be inaugurated are a 1.2 km extension up to Majerhat on the Purple Line, the Esplanade to Howrah Maidan section of the Green Line, and the New Garia-Ruby section of the New Garia-Airport Metro Corridor. The Purple Line extension underwent a trial run on January 13, 2024, while the Green Line and the New Garia-Ruby section were inspected for safety on February 6, 2024, and January 30, 2023, respectively.

abhi PMO ko nahi bheja gaya hai. Teen lines jo inaugurate honi hai woh hain Purple Line ka 1.2 km tak ka extension Majerhat tak, Green Line ka Esplanade se Howrah Maidan tak ka section, aur New Garia-Airport Metro Corridor ka New Garia-Ruby section. Purple Line extension ka trial run 13 January, 2024 ko hua tha, jabki Green Line aur New Garia-Ruby section ka safety inspection 6 February, 2024, and 30 January, 2023 ko hua tha.
