Harohalli, Bommasandra to Attibele, and Kalena Agrahara (Gottigere) to Jigani – Anekal – Attibele – Sarjapura – Varthur – Kadugodi Tree Park. The move has sparked debate, with Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar advocating for suburban expansion and Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya opposing it, arguing that core city areas should be fully connected first. The existing Phase-1 of the Metro project covers 42.3 km with 40 stations, while Phase-2, encompassing 72.095 km with 61 stations, is partially operational with some sections under construction.

Isse debate chhid gaya hai, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar suburban expansion ke liye support kar rahe hain, aur Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya yeh oppose kar rahe hain, unka kehna hai ki pehle city ke core areas ko fully connect karna chahiye. Existing Phase-1 Metro project 42.3 km mein 40 stations cover karta hai, aur Phase-2, 72.095 km aur 61 stations ka hai, yeh partially operational hai aur kuchh sections construction mein hain.
