Aurangzeb's brother, Gulam Idris, reported that he was returning from Lalganj with his sister Rukhsaar Parveen on a Memo train when two men, their faces covered with white handkerchiefs, tried to steal his phone. When he resisted, they pushed him off the train and threatened his sister. Rukhsaar informed the railway police at Muzaffarpur Junction but her complaint was ignored. She called her family using a fellow passenger's phone. The family reached Sitamarhi and requested the police to file a case of robbery and death by train. However, their statement was not recorded. They alleged that the police offered them a bribe to settle the case as a 'UD case' and receive compensation. The family reported the case to the Minority Commission and will meet the Railway SP on Tuesday to file a complaint.
