Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, and Barauni. The announcement of these trains came during the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. The Amrit Bharat trains are equipped with push-pull technology, similar to the Vande Bharat trains, offering comfortable travel at speeds up to 130 km/h. The tracks have been upgraded to accommodate these high-speed trains. The existing two pairs of Amrit Bharat Express trains, one operating between Darbhanga and the other between Malda, will be joined by these new additions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the three new trains on March 2nd during a visit to Bihar, along with a public address in Begusarai. The new trains will include a Danapur-Jogbani-Danapur Mail/Express train, which will pass through Muzaffarpur Junction. Modi will virtually flag off these trains, along with two others from the Samastipur Division.
