The Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, Eastern Railway, S K Yagnik, stated that India's rolling stock export efforts are gaining momentum and could soon surpass China in the coming years. This statement was made during the 97th anniversary celebration of the Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IRIME) in Jamalpur (Munger), Bihar. The event included a seminar focusing on the evolving landscape and potential of rolling stock export. IRIME, established in 1927, is a prominent institution for training railway engineers and has been instrumental in modernizing and technologically advancing the Indian Railways.

IRIME ne Indian Railways ko aadhunik aur technologically advanced banane mein bahut mahatvpurn bhoomika nibhayi hai.
