To address the issue, the Railway has introduced two Holi special trains – one from Delhi to Banaras and another from Jammu to Banaras. The first train will run from March 21st to 31st, while the second will operate from March 24th to April 2nd. Both trains will pass through Lucknow and Pratapgarh. The (04080-79) Delhi-Banaras-Delhi Special Express will depart from Delhi at 7:30 PM every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, reaching Banaras at 9:45 AM after passing through Pratapgarh at 6:35 AM. The return train (04079) Banaras-Delhi Special Express will leave Banaras at 6:20 PM every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, arriving in Delhi after passing through Pratapgarh at 10 PM. The (01654) Shri Mata Vaishno Devi-Banaras Special Express will run only on Mondays from Katra at 11:35 PM from March 24th to 31st, reaching Banaras at 12 AM after passing through Pratapgarh at 8:45 PM. The return train (01653) Banaras-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Special Express will run only on Tuesdays from 5:30 AM from March 24th to 31st, reaching Jammu Tawi at 8:30 AM and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station at 11:25 AM after passing through Pratapgarh at 9:45 AM.
