Currently, two video walls are operational, one near the inquiry counter and the other on top of the ticket booking counter building. The station's renovation includes installing cemented pillars, facade work, and an escalator and lift for the disabled. These changes will significantly enhance the look and feel of the station within a few months. Earlier, the renovation work was slow, leading to a fine of 25 lakhs being imposed on the contractor. The imposition of the fine seems to have accelerated the pace of construction.
