Gujarat is the only place in Asia where lions are found, while South Africa is the only other place in the world where they exist. This PIL was filed following the deaths of 184 lions in the last two years.

hain, ne court ko bataya ki poora Asia mein sirf Gujarat mein hi lion hain, aur dunia mein sirf South Africa mein bhi hain. Ye PIL 2 saal mein 184 lion ke marne ke baad file kiya gaya tha.
