All booking and inquiry counters will remain open during peak hours, and additional reservation and booking counters will be opened as needed. Teams of commercial/vigilance inspectors and RPF and police personnel will be deployed at reservation offices to monitor the activities of ticket touts and anti-social elements. Extra ticket checking staff will monitor reserved coaches. Security personnel, scouts, guides, and civil defense volunteers will be present at railway stations to manage crowds on platforms and foot over bridges. Special security checks will be conducted on important passenger trains. Duty officers, doctors, and ambulances will be stationed at New Delhi, Old Delhi, Anand Vihar Terminal, and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations. Wheelchairs will be available for senior citizens and differently-abled individuals.
