to provide significant economic benefits for the region, connecting key locations such as Kusumanchi, Paleru, Mote, Suryapet, Bhimaram, Nalgonda, Nampalli, Kalwakurthy, Nagar Kurnool, Wanaparthy, and Bhutpur. The South Central Railway (SCR) has allocated ₹7.40 crores for the final survey and marking process, which is currently underway in Mote mandal, Nalgonda district. The proposed line will stretch for approximately 296 km and is estimated to cost ₹5,330 crores. The BJP government, in power at the national level, is seen by some as strategically using this project to benefit their political standing during the upcoming elections.
