Prior to the meeting, Agrawal inspected the Izzatnagar-Kathgodam rail line and the Izzatnagar Mechanical Workshop. He observed demonstrations of various machines, including an optical emission spectrometer, hardness testing, tensile testing, and UST testing. He also assessed the cases of bogie frame cracking and hot axle failures. He instructed the workshop to maintain the quality of P.O.H. work and inspected the welding simulator, knowledge park, and model room at the B.T.C. He received information about the training provided to trainees under the Rail Skill Development Scheme by the B.T.C. He also inspected the Diesel P.O.H. Shop and saw demonstrations of various test benches. He inquired about the availability of safety equipment like circuit breakers and fuses used in AC vehicles. He conducted detailed inspections of the roller bearing section, blacksmithy shop, and bogie shop. During the inspection, he directed all railway officials and employees to ensure passenger safety in every task.
