and currently handles several passenger and freight trains, including the Ayodhya-Prayagraj Passenger, Saryu Express, Durg Nautanwa Express, and Lokmanya Tilak Ayodhya Cantt Tulsi Express. The speed limit within the junction has been increased to 30 km/h from the previous 15 km/h, with a maximum speed of 110 km/h allowed outside the junction. Once the doubling project is completed, the speed limit is expected to increase to 150 km/h. The introduction of high-speed trains, including potentially the Vande Bharat Express, is expected to begin next fiscal year.
