A railway overbridge between Bagghanala and Vaishno Mandir on the Varanasi-Shaktinagar main road, a lifeline for South Anchal, reopened to heavy vehicles on Tuesday after nine months of repairs. engineers, took over nine months to complete. The closure forced heavy vehicles heading towards Shaktinagar, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Bihar to take a detour through Gajraj Nagar and a mining area, while vehicles going towards Varanasi had to take a detour through Dala-Obra. The detour route often led to hours-long traffic jams. The reopening of the overbridge will ease traffic congestion and save truckers and haulers transporting grit, sand, and coal from having to travel 10 km extra. The deputy chief engineer of the railways, Shashi Kumar Yadav, inspected the bridge and confirmed that the repairs had been carried out properly. However, the detour route, especially the road between Gajraj Nagar and Dala red light intersection, has deteriorated due to heavy traffic and is riddled with potholes, causing inconvenience to travelers. Local residents have demanded that the road be repaired.

diya gaya tha. Railway aur UPSA ke engineers ne nine months se zyada time laga diya repair karne mein. Is bridge se heavy vehicles ka chalna band hone se, Shaktinagar, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, aur Bihar jaane wale vehicles ko Gajraj Nagar se ghumkar, khnan area ki sadak se hoke main road tak jana pada. Varanasi jaane wale vehicles ko Dala-Obra road se ghumkar jana pada. Is detour route mein, vehicles kharab hone se hours-long traffic jam hota tha. Traffic start hone ke baad, railway ke deputy chief engineer Shashi Kumar Yadav, bridge ka inspection karne gaye.
