Express. From July 1st, 2024, the Indian Railways will no longer be preparing food in pantry cars on trains, instead, all meals will be sourced from base kitchens along the train's route. This change will affect 50 trains passing through Jhansi and Gwalior, including the two Vande Bharat Express trains mentioned above. Gwalior's base kitchen will now cater to passengers of the Bhopal Shatabdi and Gatimaan Express trains.
