The Indian Railways has allocated Rs. 6,500 crore in the interim budget to accelerate the electrification of its broad gauge network, aiming for completion ahead of schedule. This initiative will make Indian Railways the world's largest green railway, drastically reducing carbon emissions by 2027-28.
Indian Railways apna broad gauge network ka electrification jaldi complete karne ke liye interim budget mein Rs. 6,500 crore allocate kiya hai. Yeh move Railways ko duniya ka sabse bada green railway bana dega, aur 2027-28 tak carbon emissions ko bahut kam kar dega.
